Collaborative AI platform Legora secures $150 million Series C at a $1.8 billion valuation to scale globally amid surging adoption by law firms and enterprises.
Legora has raised USD $150 million in Series C funding at a $1.8 billion valuation, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from ICONIQ Growth, General Catalyst, Redpoint Ventures, Benchmark, and Y Combinator. The new capital will accelerate Legora’s global expansion and deepen its product roadmap as demand for AI in the legal sector continues to surge.
Over the past six months, Legora’s customer base has grown from 250 to more than 400, while its market presence has expanded from 20 to over 40 countries. The company now counts many of the world’s leading law firms and enterprises—including Linklaters, Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, and MinterEllison—as both clients and strategic collaborators. Tens of thousands of legal professionals use Legora daily for AI-powered research, drafting, and document collaboration.
“We are seeing astronomical demand for our product,” said Max Junestrand, CEO and co-founder of Legora. “Legal professionals across the globe are adopting AI into their work at an unprecedented rate. I’m grateful for the strong backing of our investors, which enables us to execute on our vision: enabling the lawyer of the future and seamless collaboration between machine and human intelligence.”
Legora distinguishes itself through its collaborative approach to AI deployment. The company works directly with clients from early pilots through full-scale rollout, ensuring that solutions are tailored to specific workflows and embraced organization-wide. This model, the company says, delivers faster adoption and measurable impact on productivity and profitability.
Headquartered in Stockholm with offices in London, New York, Denver, and Sydney, Legora employs nearly 200 legal experts and technologists. The company plans to more than double its headcount over the next year while establishing additional regional hubs to support its rapidly expanding client base.
“Legora is quickly becoming the go-to partner for legal professionals worldwide—making their work easier, more rewarding, and more profitable,” said Junestrand. “We’ve made great progress, but we’re only getting started. The next stage of our journey will demand relentless focus and hard work as we continue to shape the future of legal AI.”
