Utah Mammoth sign multi-year deal with Filevine, making the legaltech firm the team’s first-ever official helmet sponsor.
The Utah Mammoth have announced a multi-year agreement with Filevine, naming the Salt Lake City–based legal AI and business software company as the team’s first-ever official helmet partner. The partnership will debut with the 2025–26 NHL season.
Under the deal, the Filevine logo will appear on the Mammoth’s black helmets for home games and white helmets for away games. Filevine branding will also be visible rinkside in the penalty box and across the dashers inside Delta Center, as well as in virtual broadcasts for fans at home.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Filevine in our first season as the Utah Mammoth, uniting two Utah-based brands that are committed to innovation and growth,” said Chris Barney, president of revenue and commercial strategy at Smith Entertainment Group. “With deep roots in the state and a growing global presence, Filevine is the perfect partner to join us as we continue to grow the game of hockey and elevate their brand on a national stage.”
Founded in 2015, Filevine has grown rapidly to serve more than 6,000 customers across industries including law, insurance, government, and enterprise corporations in the U.S. and Canada. Its AI-powered platform streamlines drafting, evidence review, depositions, and case management, positioning the company as a leader in the future of legal work.
“Partnering with the Utah Mammoth is a unique opportunity to grow Filevine’s presence and support our local community,” said Sean Dowdle, Chief Revenue Officer at Filevine. “We believe in breaking barriers with technology, and the Utah Mammoth share that same relentless drive for performance. This partnership is a natural fit.”
The announcement comes a year after Canadian legaltech leader Clio signed a similar multiyear deal with the Vancouver Canucks, becoming their official away jersey partner. Together, the partnerships highlight how legal technology brands are expanding visibility beyond the courtroom and into major league sports.
