The Canadian Legal Summit will bring legal professionals to Toronto’s Carlu on October 14, 2026, for a day focused on technology adoption, practice management and the changing relationship between law firms and their clients.
The event features three parallel streams: Small & Mid-Size, AI & Innovation, and GC-Law Firm Partnership. For legaltech leaders, the AI stream will explore automation, implementation and how firms and in-house teams can put emerging tools to practical use.
Sessions will examine where AI performs well, where it falls short and which manual tasks legal professionals can automate, alongside discussions about adoption safeguards and risk management.
Featured speakers include Google senior counsel Arun Krishnamurti, Cohere vice-president of legal Kosta Starostin, and Stewart McKelvey chief strategy and innovation officer and partner Paul Saunders.
LEAP is the event partner, with Legora, Thomson Reuters, LexisNexis and Harvey among the participating partners. The program also includes sessions on legal talent, firm profitability and client relationships, with CPD and professionalism accreditation available in Ontario and British Columbia.
