As Canada’s legaltech community heads to Boston for ClioCon 2026, LegalTech.ca is spotlighting five Canadian companies helping law firms rethink how they do business.
First up is Lawbrokr, which helps firms connect their digital marketing efforts to the prospective clients they convert.
For law firms investing in digital marketing, generating traffic is only part of the challenge. Understanding which efforts turn prospective clients into new business can be much harder.
That is the gap Canadian legaltech startup Lawbrokr is working to close.
“Law firms are investing more than ever in digital growth, but many still struggle to connect marketing activity to actual business outcomes,” Lawbrokr’s Daniel Steinberg told LegalTech.ca. “They can see clicks, traffic, and leads, but often lack visibility into what actually drives a prospective client to convert.”
Lawbrokr helps firms understand the prospective client journey, from the marketing source that first attracts someone through qualification and conversion. Alongside that visibility, the platform helps firms create digital experiences designed to turn more website visitors into qualified leads.
The goal is to give firms a clearer understanding of what is working, where to invest, and how to generate more business from their existing digital presence.
For firms using Clio, Lawbrokr’s integration connects its marketing, attribution, and conversion data with the systems they already use to manage intake.
ClioCon offers an opportunity to demonstrate that connection while gathering with firms and technology partners shaping the delivery of legal services.
“As a Canadian legaltech company, we are proud to be building alongside one of Canada’s great technology success stories while continuing to grow our footprint across North America,” Steinberg says.
This year, Lawbrokr is also bringing a broader message about its direction. Steinberg says the company has spent the past five years building data around how legal consumers engage with firms, what prompts an inquiry, and what ultimately leads to conversion.
“The next chapter for Lawbrokr is about turning that data into Intelligence.”
That means helping firms look beyond lead counts to understand where prospective clients come from, how they behave, what drives them to act, and where opportunities are being lost.
For lawyers discovering Lawbrokr in Boston, the conversation will centre on a practical question: how can firms turn a better understanding of their prospective clients into more effective marketing and intake?
