Clio Names Scott Gibbs SVP, Enterprise to Expand Large-Firm Business

News Brief, September 28, 2026

Clio has appointed Scott Gibbs as Senior Vice President, Enterprise, creating a new executive role to lead its growth with the world’s largest law firms and corporate legal departments.

The appointment signals a greater focus on the enterprise market as Clio invests in the leadership, customer strategy, and operating structure needed to support larger deployments and more complex legal organizations.

Gibbs will oversee enterprise strategy across go-to-market activities, customer relationships, and growth. His mandate includes strengthening engagement with major customers and ensuring their priorities inform Clio’s product direction and broader business strategy.

“The world’s largest legal organizations are making decisions today that will define how they operate for the next decade,” said Ronnie Gurion, President and Chief Operating Officer at Clio. “Scott knows what it takes to scale alongside the most complex organizations in the world, and he will help us turn the momentum we have today into something significantly bigger.”

Gibbs most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Meltwater, where he led the global go-to-market organization after establishing its enterprise segment. His responsibilities included pricing, revenue operations, retention, and strategic accounts.

Previously, he held senior leadership positions at Tableau, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Americas, overseeing its largest geographic market following its acquisition by Salesforce. He also spent more than a decade at Cisco.

“Large legal organizations are moving quickly as AI changes how work gets done, and they need partners that can keep pace with that complexity,” said Gibbs. “My focus will be on scaling what is already working, and building the structure around it.”

Clio says larger legal organizations are placing greater emphasis on security, governance, service, and workflow capabilities as they make long-term technology and AI investment decisions.

The hire follows several leadership changes at Clio in 2026, including Gurion’s promotion to President and COO, George Totev’s appointment as Vice President, Security and CISO, and the appointments of Pablo Arredondo and Bridget Mary McCormack to lead its expansion into the judiciary.
