Harvey Becomes Toronto Maple Leafs’ Exclusive Legal AI Partner

News Brief, June 24, 2026

Legal AI company Harvey is deepening its Canadian presence through a multi-year partnership with one of the country’s most recognizable sports franchises.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have named Harvey their Official and Exclusive Legal AI Partner, extending the company’s brand beyond law firms and corporate legal departments and into Scotiabank Arena.

Under the partnership, Harvey will receive prominent exposure at the arena and across the Maple Leafs’ social media channels. Its branding will appear on in-arena LED signs, concourse displays and broadcasts during select games.

Harvey will also serve as presenting partner for designated Maple Leafs home games, with integrated branding, in-game activations and hospitality experiences. The agreement will give Harvey opportunities to engage clients, partners and members of Toronto’s business community through premium game-night events and Maple Leafs programming.

“Toronto is a critical part of Harvey’s growth story,” said Harvey Chief Business Officer John Haddock. “Our office here continues to expand, and we’re investing deeply in the city’s legal, business, and technology ecosystem.”

Haddock described the partnership as a way to reinforce Harvey’s commitment to Toronto and the broader Canadian market as it builds its AI platform for legal and professional services.

Toronto is home to one of Harvey’s fastest-growing offices and has become central to the company’s Canadian expansion. Harvey said its technology supports several of the country’s leading law firms, professional-services organizations and corporate legal teams.

“As we introduce Harvey as the Maple Leafs’ newest partner, our fans will have the opportunity to connect with an organization that shares our dedication to excellence and commitment to our city,” said Anton Wimmer, Vice President of Partnership Development and Revenue Strategy at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.

Wimmer said the partnership would give Leafs fans opportunities to learn more about Harvey and the ways its technology is transforming legal and professional services.

The announcement did not state that Harvey’s platform would be deployed within the Maple Leafs’ or MLSE’s legal operations. The partnership is instead focused on brand visibility, fan engagement, hospitality and Harvey’s growing connections with Toronto’s legal and business communities.

The Maple Leafs agreement continues Harvey’s recent move into high-profile sports partnerships. In 2026, the company also announced multi-year relationships with Fulham FC and Paris Saint-Germain as it expanded its presence in the United Kingdom and continental Europe.

For Harvey, aligning with the Maple Leafs offers a distinctly Canadian platform for building recognition beyond the legal sector while reinforcing Toronto’s importance to its international growth.
