Supio is deepening its push into AI-powered litigation workflows through a new integration with Thomson Reuters that connects its platform directly to Westlaw Advantage, part of CoCounsel Legal.
The integration gives personal injury lawyers a direct pathway from case analysis to legal research, allowing users to move from case facts to validated legal arguments with a single click. Through embedded links, Supio users can access Westlaw Advantage’s Deep Research, AI Jurisdictional Surveys, and Litigation Document Analyzer without leaving their workflow.
The announcement builds on a strategic partnership unveiled in September 2025, when Supio and Thomson Reuters aligned on a shared roadmap to advance AI-driven tools for plaintiff-side litigation. This latest release represents the first phase of that collaboration, with a focus on connecting case intelligence, legal research, and document drafting into a unified workflow.
“Supio was a natural fit for Westlaw Advantage,” said Aaron Rademacher, General Manager of Small Law at Thomson Reuters. “Attorneys can move directly from case facts to validated legal arguments, with confidence that every piece of case information meets the fiduciary-grade standard their clients deserve.”
The integration targets a longstanding friction point in legal workflows: the disconnect between case data and legal research. When attorneys rely on multiple disconnected tools, the risk of missed facts, inefficient research, and jurisdictional gaps increases.
Supio and Thomson Reuters are addressing this through three key integration points. During case review, Supio can prompt jurisdiction-specific research, linking users directly into Westlaw’s AI Jurisdictional Surveys. Attorneys can also launch Westlaw’s Deep Research tools from within Supio to explore legal issues without manually framing queries. And during drafting, users can validate citations and arguments through Westlaw’s Litigation Document Analyzer with a single click.
Together, these capabilities are designed to accelerate case preparation while improving accuracy and legal rigor. By connecting case intelligence with authoritative legal research, the companies aim to help firms strengthen litigation strategies and improve outcomes.
“Solidifying a case with sound legal research is a non-negotiable,” said Supio CEO Jerry Zhou. “By connecting Supio’s case intelligence directly to Westlaw Advantage, attorneys can better link case details with legal precedent, resulting in stronger case preparation and outcomes.”
As AI adoption accelerates across legal workflows, the partnership signals a broader shift toward tightly integrated platforms that reduce fragmentation and bring research, analysis, and drafting into a single system.
