Clio Launches Vincent Mobile App

News Brief, April 2, 2026

Clio is extending its legal AI platform beyond the desktop with the launch of the Vincent by Clio mobile app, bringing on-the-go legal analysis to lawyers on iOS and Android devices.

The move reflects a broader shift in how legal work is being performed—less confined to desks and increasingly happening in real time, between meetings, in court corridors, and during document review on the fly. With Vincent now available on mobile, lawyers can ask questions, analyze documents, and generate legal insights directly from their phones.

“Legal work doesn’t start and stop at a desk,” said Jack Newton, CEO and Founder of Clio. “The Vincent mobile app brings legal AI into those moments, so lawyers can move faster while staying grounded in the facts of their matters.”

Vincent has emerged as a core tool within Clio’s ecosystem for legal research and analysis, enabling lawyers to review documents, assess risks, and develop arguments backed by authoritative sources. The mobile app builds on those capabilities by allowing users to begin work immediately—either by typing or speaking queries, or by uploading legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and transcripts.

The app is designed to surface key issues quickly, including risks, arguments, and relevant authorities, while maintaining transparency into how conclusions are reached. Users can review the legal sources and supporting passages behind each output, reinforcing trust in AI-assisted analysis.

“Vincent is helping lawyers move from questions to analysis faster,” said John Foreman, Chief Product Officer at Clio. “With mobile, we’re expanding where that work can happen.”

The mobile experience also supports continuity across devices, enabling lawyers to start work on their phones and continue on desktop without losing context. For Clio Work users, the app integrates directly with matter-level data—including client communications, deadlines, and case activity—allowing legal analysis to reflect the full context of a file.

By connecting legal research, document analysis, and case management into a unified workflow, Clio is positioning Vincent as a central layer in how modern legal work gets done—now accessible from anywhere.

The Vincent by Clio mobile app is available immediately on iOS and Android.
