Crosby, an emerging AI-native law firm, has raised a USD $60 million Series B to accelerate its push to reinvent how legal services are delivered.
The round was led by Lux Capital and Index Ventures, with participation from 01 Advisors, Sequoia Capital, Elad Gil, and Bain Capital Ventures.
Positioning itself as a vertically integrated “AI law firm” rather than a software vendor, Crosby is combining legal services with proprietary technology—while taking responsibility for the work it delivers.
The company is also showing early signs of scale. According to co-founder Ryan Daniels, Crosby has negotiated contracts worth more than $1 billion for clients since emerging from stealth less than a year ago, up from $30 million at launch. The firm says its platform enables contracts to be completed up to 80% faster.
“We work with the most ambitious companies in the world,” Daniels noted, pointing to customers including Ramp, Clay, and Rogo.
Crosby’s core focus today is contract review, but the company is actively developing new AI-driven capabilities that extend beyond traditional legal workflows. These include simulations that predict how counterparties will respond to redlines, voice agents that can negotiate on behalf of clients, and collaborative platforms that give clients greater visibility into legal work in progress.
The company’s model reflects a broader rethink of the law firm structure itself. While top U.S. firms collectively generated $69 billion in profits last year—largely distributed to partners—Crosby is advocating for reinvestment into technology and product development as a path to better legal outcomes.
By embedding AI directly into the delivery of legal services, rather than layering it on as a tool, Crosby is part of a growing cohort of companies aiming to redefine the economics, speed, and experience of legal work.
With fresh capital and increasing client demand, the company is now focused on scaling what it calls the “dream law firm”—one built for speed, accountability, and continuous product innovation.
