Early-stage legal technology startups have just days left to apply for the LegalTech LaunchPad Startup Pitch Competition, a global contest designed to spotlight emerging companies shaping the future of legal services.
The competition is part of LegalTechTalk 2026, an international conference focused on legal innovation taking place June 17–18 in London. The event brings together law firm leaders, in-house counsel, investors, and founders from across the legal technology ecosystem.
LaunchPad offers early-stage startups an opportunity to present their solutions on a global stage. A select group of finalists will be invited to pitch live at the conference to a panel of venture capitalists, industry experts, and legal professionals, gaining exposure to potential investors, partners, and customers.
Judges will evaluate applicants based on innovation, market potential, scalability, and the strength of their proposed solutions. The competition is designed to highlight startups developing technologies that improve how legal work is delivered, including tools focused on automation, AI-powered research, contract management, and compliance.
To qualify, companies must have been founded on or after January 1, 2023 and raised less than £3 million in funding. At least one founder or senior team member must also be available to attend the conference in person and deliver the pitch if selected as a finalist.
With the application deadline set for March 16, organizers say the competition is aimed at identifying the next generation of legaltech disruptors and connecting them with the global legal innovation community.
For early-stage legaltech founders looking to gain international visibility and feedback from industry leaders, the LegalTech LaunchPad competition offers a high-profile platform—but the window to apply is closing quickly.
