Everlaw has expanded the availability of its generative AI capabilities, announcing that EverlawAI Deep Dive is now generally available to legal teams in the UK, European Union, and Canada.
The feature, developed by Everlaw, is designed to transform document review by allowing users to ask natural-language questions across an entire document corpus—including datasets measured in terabytes—and receive citation-backed answers drawn directly from case materials. The tool is intended to support legal teams at every stage of the litigation lifecycle, from early case assessment through trial preparation.
Deep Dive is built around three core principles: simplicity, scale, and reliability. Legal professionals can interact conversationally with their documents to surface key facts, while the platform has been tested on matters involving tens of millions of documents across multiple file types.
To reduce the risk of hallucinations, the system searches exclusively within the uploaded document set, ranks responses by confidence level, and provides supporting facts and references. When evidence is insufficient, the tool is designed to clearly indicate that limitation rather than generate speculative answers.
According to Everlaw, the feature is particularly valuable for time-sensitive scenarios such as reviewing large productions from opposing counsel or quickly briefing senior lawyers on the central issues in a matter. Use cases highlighted by the company include early case assessment, production review, and trial readiness, where teams can rapidly extract key facts and quotations grounded in the actual case record.
