Prolegis Integrates With Clio for Canadian Real Estate Firms

News Brief, December 17, 2025

Calgary-based legal technology company Prolegis has announced a new strategic integration with Clio, aimed at creating a unified intake-to-reporting workflow for Canadian real estate law firms.

The integration connects Prolegis’ real estate–specific workflow and document automation tools with Clio’s Intelligent Legal Work Platform, allowing firms to operate from a single, consistent source of truth while managing the full lifecycle of a matter—from client intake through to billing and reporting.

“Our collaboration with Clio connects the essential tools our customers use every day,” said Scott Archibald, CEO of Prolegis. “By establishing a seamless workflow from intake to final billing, firms can improve data accuracy, reduce non-billable work, and focus on delivering expert client service.”

Through the integration, real estate practices can continue using Prolegis’ purpose-built conveyancing workflows while ensuring matter data, documents, and reporting remain centralized within Clio. The companies say the result is improved governance, reduced manual data entry, and greater operational confidence for legal teams.

Luke Slan, General Manager of Clio Canada, said the integration reflects Clio’s growing investment in the Canadian market. “Canadian law firms deserve technology built for the nuances of the Canadian legal landscape. Working with Prolegis allows real estate professionals to centralize their data and operate with greater efficiency and confidence.”

The integrated solution will be available to joint Prolegis and Clio customers in Alberta and Ontario beginning in February 2026, with British Columbia expected to follow shortly thereafter.

Founded in 2018, Prolegis was created to address gaps in Canadian real estate conveyancing technology. The cloud-native platform is designed to streamline high-volume, deadline-driven real estate practices by organizing workflows, reducing risk, and improving consistency across files.
